lots and lots

i've got some literary tattoos i'd like to share with you all.

catcher in the rye passage with one male and one female mallard duck on each side. pictures aren't the best, sorry.

harry potter stars. i actually did this one myself.

cover of the sound and the fury.

one day at horrorland monster, with my dad's name and dates he lived. it's the first "real" book i ever remember reading, and we read it together before he died. also, i've got my 2+2=5 in there.

other side of horrorland.

i've been meaning to post these for a while, but finally got around to it. i'm going back in on the 2nd to get a detailed moth done to represent the poem "the lesson of the moth" by Don Marquis and maybe the words "come easy, go easy." i also want a bit more filler stuff to fill in the half sleeve. i might get the golden city on the cover of tad williams' "otherland" book.

thankss

Your tattoos are wonderful. I've never seen an R.L. Stein tattoo but I really love it.

I LOVE the Goosebumps tribute you did for your dad - touching and oh-so-sentimental. So so so much love for that particular piece. And the rest of them, they're all so great!

You tattooed those stars yourself? That's so cool! And the R.L. Stein is such a touching tribute :)

is the "2+2=5" from 1984, or is it something else?

Due to the cut text I'm guessing it's from the Radiohead song.

I really like your Catcher in the Rye tattoo. That is my absolute favorite book and the question of where the ducks go is absolutely valid. We have a fountain at my university that was home to a few ducks and you get accustomed to seeing them bobbing about. Then I noticed that they had drained the fountain and my first question was BUT WHAT DID THEY DO WITH THE DUCKS??

Also I also am vaguely bemused by the Harry Potter stars because as I'm Canadian, we get the traditional "British" versions instead of the American ones, so I never had the ones with stars or chapter illustrations in them. I kind of prefer the neater look of the British ones, though?
