- Charles Bukowski
This was my first tattoo, done about five years ago.
I've since added a finger mustache, a voodoo priestess, and a zombie half-sleeve to my collection but this will always be my favorite.
I love Bukowski to bits!
I want to tattoo the line "I run with the hunted", from one of his poems!
That's a wonderful tatoo, great line, great writer and it looks very beautiful!
Let me ask you - how do these 'written' tattoos looks after some years? I'm always afraid they might get blurry or something. I only have tattoo of drawings, not words, and I'm afraid the words will become illegible after a while. But as I said, I really want to get a Buk tattoo!
Honestly, it looks as good now as the day it was finished. Only one or two letters have lost their crispness, but you really can't tell unless you stare at it for a while. For being five years old, I've certainly seen worse in text tattoos that are newer than that.
Very nice! I see body art as a way to express ourselves without words...I hate when people judge others cause of things they have tatted on them,it's they're body they are the ones who have to live with it so what's the big problem! Yes they're are parts of body myself personally wouldn't get a tattoo on but that's my choice just like people who choose to get a tattoo on they're face & other places...Everyone express yourself the way you choose to,it's no ones business and last I checked I wasn't put in this world to worry about what everyone thinks and wasn't made to impress everyone so be who you want!
